Wavefront Electroacoustic Technology Receives 2015 Best of Moraine Award

September 2015 - Wavefront Electroacoustic Technology has been selected for the 2015 Best of Moraine Award in the Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing category by the Moraine Award Program.

Each year, the Moraine Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Moraine area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2015 Moraine Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Moraine Award Program and data provided by third parties.

August 2015 - Website Update, Bass Preamp

There sure has been a lot going on! Firstly, we have once again updated our website, a pretty big update this time. We hope you like the streamlined, simplified look. Since most people use tablets and smartphones now, we've made several changes with those users in mind. This version of the site makes extensive use of HTML5 and CSS3, so we recommend upgrading your browser to the latest version for the best results. Now almost any web enabled device should be able to easily view and navigate our new site!

The Wavefront W-001pj Bass Guitar preamplifier is deep in the design and prototype stages. Tubes are great, but they're not the only way to make your bass sound fantastic. Meet the Jfet, the semiconductor gain device that sounds and behaves very much like a tube, without any of the drawbacks of tubes! We're really excited about this new preamp; it is shaping up to be that must-have piece of gear that will unlock your sound - the gear available to you up till now just hasn't been able to achieve it. Check back with us often, we'll keep you posted on the progress of this killer preamp!

Specially designed ports give it solid low end with a touch of growl. The compact cabinet features neodymium drivers and is lightweight and easy to transport. Overall dimensions are 500mm X 670mm X 390mm (20" X 26" X 15"). Other technical specs: Impedance 4 Ohms, sensitivity 98 dB @ 1W/1m. Recommended amplifier power up to 300 Wrms. The system will be available spring 2014.

July 31, 2013 - Wavefront Electroacoustic Technology launches new website

Wavefront Electroacoustic Technology was established in July, 2011. All this time we have been focusing strongly on product ideation (a fancy marketing term), development, and prototyping. However, nowadays you really need a website to connect with your customers. So, after many delays, negotiations, close calls, international incidents and peaceful demonstrations, we finally waved the magic wand and lo, a website! (well, not really. What actually happened is the technical guy just wanted to learn html and do it all himself).
Hope you like it!
